It all begins with mission
The idea behind GT1 was simple: What happens if we create an IT firm for the purpose of furthering the Gospel? That’s what we’ve done. Our mission is to do business in such a way that what we stand for is self-evident: It shapes how we think. It shapes who we are. It shapes how we are. With more than 125 million computers in the US It can be hard to look beyond the statistics to individuals. That is where our mission collides with statistics. We’d invite you to investigate whether an IT firm centered on furthering the Gospel can serve you. We believe we can.
As a part of our mission 10% of our revenue is donated to charitable work. Where do we donate? It is estimated that 100,000 juveniles in the United States are victims of sex trafficking each year. For that reason, those of us at GT1 have taken working against trafficking as part of our mission.

Based in Travelers Rest, SC, GT1 provides a wide range of IT services—including help desk support, software development, IT infrastructure design, and comprehensive system evaluations. (And yes, we even joke about offering dog-walking, because serving your needs is that important to us.)
With over 50 years of combined experience across diverse areas of IT, our team brings deep expertise and a client-first mindset. You might find we understand your business challenges more intuitively than you'd expect. We speak about our mission often—and that’s intentional. It keeps us grounded and ensures our decisions and operations are aligned with our core values.
Our Mission
At GT1, our mission is clear: to reflect Biblical principles in everything we do, to further the Gospel, and to place our clients’ goals ahead of our own. That means our pricing is fair and transparent, not dictated by what’s best for our bottom line. Our recommendations are guided by what is best for you—not what benefits GT1. The name GT1 stands for something important to us. It means that how we live, work, and serve—both within our organization and in the community—must reflect our mission. We are committed to treating our clients, staff, and partners with respect, integrity, and humility.
We are second
To us, the mission comes before us. We define success in terms of two things: how we adhere to our mission and how we assist our partners in achieving their goals. The bottom line isn’t our bottom line. As a part of our mission, GT1 dedicates 10% of revenue to advocacy or other charitable work - defending those in our society who are the most helpless or the most at risk.
At present we’ve felt led to work against trafficking, a stain on our society in which thousands of young men and women are victimized each month. It is our hope that our partners might be encouraged to join in this work, or other work - defending those in our society who are most at risk.
